The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development signed a joint memorandum of understanding with the Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR). The ministry was represented by Mr. Saleh Al-Zahrani, Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs Department in the National Donation Platform, while the company was represented by the Vice President for Shared Services Eng. Salah bin Abdullah Al-Omair, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry for Community Development, Mr. Ahmed bin Saleh Al-Majid.

The memorandum aims to enhance the joint work between the two parties for social responsibility, and to enhance the practice of companies and institutions in social responsibility and participation in national government initiatives, through the contribution of the company's employees to donation opportunities through the national donation platform (donation) in addition to providing the opportunity for the company's clients to contribute and donate through the platform. The memorandum also includes the agreement of the two parties to participate in the National Giving Index initiative and the Ministry's development programs, and to overcome obstacles to donation projects that fall within the scope of ownership of the Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR).

The Undersecretary of the Ministry for Community Development, Mr. Ahmed bin Saleh Al-Majed, indicated the importance of these agreements, which contribute to improving the services provided to the beneficiaries, through continuous development in the areas of the memorandum in order to achieve the goals of supporting and developing the social development sector to achieve KSA Vision 2030.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development seeks, through the conclusion of such memorandums, to empower the individual, society and institutions, to promote social responsibility, to promote the labor market through the development of policies and legislation, and to enable the Ministry's employees to provide a distinguished experience for the beneficiaries.
