MLSD allows Hajj work opportunities via Ajeer portal

The Ministry of Labor and Social Development (MLSD) launched last Sunday the temporary work e-service for Hajj season, a move that facilitates and encourages contribution of Saudi nationals during the season.

It can be accessible through the Ajeer portal (www.ajeer.com.sa), which combines companies that offer Hajj services and those who wish to work during the Hajj season, as well as documenting the contractual relationship between them.

Dr. Ahmed Qattan, deputy minister for labor policies at the ministry, clarified that the service offers direct contracting that allows Hajj companies operating under license to post job opportunities on the portal during the season as job seekers can review and apply for jobs that suit them.

The service also allows job seekers to register with the portal and publish their résumés where employers can review them and choose the candidates for their posts, Dr. Qattan added as well.

The deputy minister for labor policies emphasized that the service is in a bid to provide an online market that takes into account the demand and supply aspects, combining Haj companies and those who want to temporarily work during the Hajj season.

He called upon both Hajj companies and individuals to benefit from this opportunity by registering with the ‘Ajeer’ portal.

They can contact the customer service No. 920002866 if they have any inquiry regarding the service.
