The meeting discussed many topics related to the Corona pandemic, including: urgent action to confront the effects of this epidemic, exchange of Arab experiences to confront it, including the difficulties encountered in implementing relevant policies and programs, and social protection systems in emergencies and epidemics.
Al-Ghanimi delivered a speech during the meeting in which he stressed the need to reconsider the mechanisms and procedures for dealing with this crisis to meet the aspirations and needs of Arab peoples, especially in the social fields, and reviewed some measures and initiatives that had a positive impact in mitigating the effects of the Corona pandemic on citizens and residents in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Stressing that the Kingdom was one of the first countries to sense the danger of the Coronavirus, as it provided all the necessary capabilities at the highest level, placing the safety of citizens and residents on its hierarchy of priorities and thus preserving its development and economic gains.
It is noteworthy that such meetings contribute to the exchange of experiences and experiences between Arab countries, especially in the social and developmental fields, and enhance friendly and cooperative relations between ministries.
